All textbooks have completely veniahod, and shops teking advantage of the shortage are offering 6d. books at 7/6d. There are no teachers' booke available. It is really urgent that my suggestion in signal No. 14 of the 20th September, repeated bolow, should be implemented at the carliest possible opportunity. T&T Control British School is in the same condition with regard to oquipment as the Northeoto Training Collogo. It will be necessary to completely re-cquip the chemical and physical laboratorice with furnituro, chenicle and apparetus, and the same annlice to the Lomestic Science room, which has boon used as an ororeting theeiro. Thore are no books of any kind in the school, and they should bo ordered nt once. A complete got of books such as are normally used in the secondary ext Grammar schools for all subjects for children, from Form 1 (nge 11)

to Form 6 and upper 6 (age 18) including thoro required for the school Certificate and Higher School Certifier to examinations. Horo agrin, thero src no deeks nor any of the usual school furniture.
